TROPICAL VIBES IN THE RAW IRISH COUNTRYSIDE

Praia da Falésia is especially known for its long, uninterrupted stretch of golden sand, backed by red and orange cliffs that run for kilometers along the Algarve coast. The scale of the beach means it rarely feels crowded, even during busier periods, and the continuous cliffs offer many access points, as well as excellent spots for walking along the coast with endless spectacular views. The water is refreshing and often rougher, but during summer in Europe, it is one of the most appealing places to visit for its ample space and fresh ocean temperatures. It’s the length of the beach, the color and shapes of the cliffs, and the open space that make Praia da Falésia stand out along the Algarve.

    Look for days where the wind will be blowing from behind the beach towards the water, as well as days with little to no wind.

  • HIGH SEASON

    High season peaks in July and August, and Keem Beach is much busier during those months than it is at other times of the year. June and September are a great compromise with less crowds and excellent weather.

  • TEMPERATURE

    Due to Keem Beach being located in a colder climate, it is best to visit during the hottest months of the year.

  • CLEAR SKIES

    Try to visit during the drier months of the year to maximize your chances at seeing Keem Beach at its best.
